This project is a full-scale renovation of a historic apartment, conceived to preserve its architectural soul while introducing a contemporary, highly refined living experience. The intervention focuses on material quality, spatial clarity, and natural light, transforming the home into a warm, elegant, and functional residence designed for modern life.
The original structure—defined by exposed brick walls, generous ceiling heights, and traditional proportions—has been carefully preserved and enhanced. Natural materials take center stage throughout the home: warm wood floors, stone surfaces, and custom-made cabinetry create a cohesive and timeless atmosphere. The kitchen acts as a true architectural focal point, combining dark matte cabinetry with natural stone countertops and brass accents. Designed for both functionality and presence, it integrates seamlessly with the living spaces while maintaining a strong, distinctive identity. Living and private areas are defined by calm, light-filled spaces. Large black-framed windows amplify natural daylight, highlighting textures and materials without overwhelming the eye. The living room is intentionally understated, allowing space, proportion, and light to define the experience.
Bathrooms are conceived as spa-like environments, featuring natural stone finishes, walk-in showers, and carefully separated sanitary zones for comfort and functionality. Each detail is designed to feel solid, durable, and quietly luxurious. The master bedroom and home office follow the same design philosophy: warm, minimal, and highly functional. Custom furniture, integrated storage, and soft lighting create intimate spaces that remain visually connected to the rest of the apartment.
